Welcome to the Holiday Happiness
for our Readers Giveaway, part 2

Today, we’re opening entries for the second and final giveaway, which has two prize packs for two separate winners. These book collection giveaway prize packs are for the adults – especially the women of the world, the moms, sisters, grandmoms, aunts, and best friends. And they would make great holiday gifts, even as stocking stuffers!

Gift Pack 1:
♥ Two copies of The Mother of All Meltdowns – one to keep for yourself and one to share so you can get together later and laugh, commiserate and just generally feel better about your lives. Here’s a quick synopsis from Goodreads: “Every mother, at some point, inevitably becomes her own worst enemy. In a millisecond, her halo crumbles and she has a moment so crazed it is forever known as the one…The Mother of All Meltdowns. This anthology was written by women who have had their moments.” (p.s. I’m one of the crazy women in this book!)

♥ A journal from Barnes & Noble, hand-woven by artisans in India, made with a hardcover of recycled newspaper. Now, you can write down all the funny moments, the silly quips, the meltdown breaking points, or anything you darn well want to, it’s just the journal for you, all about YOU.

Gift Pack 2:
♥ Copy of The Mother of All Meltdowns

♥ Copy of The Tatted Mom’s Guide to Not Screwing Up Your Kids. Written by Morgan Moss, the creator of The Inklings of Life blog, the book is a how-to manual for the parenting problems no one tells you about. Goodreads says, “Some days are filled with unicorns and fairy dust, and some days the unicorn craps on your brand new rug and the fairies are flying around, crashing into walls. That’s where this book comes into play, tackling situations in motherhood that you were definitely not warned about.” (I might be quoted on page 35. Maybe)

♥ Copy of You Have Lipstick on Your Teeth and Other Things You’ll Only Hear from Your Friends In The Powder Room. An anthology cooked up by the hilarious crew of In The Powder Room, according to Goodreads, this “anthology of original short stories from some of the wittiest women writers, stories they would only tell their closest friends, most likely from within the haven of a ladies’ room. Inside you’ll find 39 (mostly) true tales by women, for women, about being women—bodily changes, relationships, careers, motherhood, aging, illness, and more.”

  1. I am going to be the mommy here and say that one of my favorites is a classic from my childhood – Are you my Mother? I love it and my boys do too. I wish I had more time to read adult books, but the short ones are just my style right now. So I love that the books in this giveaway sound like I can read them in short spurts.

    • I have never read that book! But ironically, Henry picked that book up on a Target shelf, and I thought of you! You will Love the Mother of all meltdowns- HILARIOUS! and can easily be read “on occasion” because it is a collection of various essays! Goodluck!
